Economic Stability Specialist
How did you first learn about and begin working with The Avery Center? How long have you been with the organization?
I moved to Colorado in 2017 for much-needed healing. During my healing process, I was introduced to a therapist who helped guide me to become the woman I am today. My therapist introduced me to Megan Lundstrom, who offered tremendous support and guidance. Megan in turn introduced me to The Avery Center team. Due to the unwavering support and encouragement from The Avery Center employees, I decided to take the leap and joined The Avery Center team in October 2020.
What's your favorite part/the most fulfilling part of your role?
Being a survivor myself, it’s both healing and rewarding to use my personal experiences in helping others.
Who is someone you admire, and why?
My parents, they both dealt with many hardships in their lives and have been triumphant through those challenges.
