I learned of this great opportunity through a friend and colleague I’ve worked alongside in the anti/trafficking movement.

The incorporation of Survivor informed insight.
What's your favorite part/the most fulfilling part of your role?
The teams collaborative effort.
What do you enjoy doing when you're not at The Avery Center?
Reading. I’m always on a quest to learn new things. My happy place is inside a book.
Who is someone you admire, and why?
My children. I’ve been there since their inception. Watching them become amazing humans is admirable.
Do you have any skills or talents that most people don’t know about?
I’m a strategist. That gives me the ability to see things from various vantage points.
What advice would you give someone who wants to join our team of superstars?
Plan to make a great impact on this work to make this movement progress. You will be well supported.

One of my desires is to bring awareness, research, and services to survivors of familial trafficking. Survivors of familial trafficking are often unseen, not represented in research, and not acknowledged within the anti-trafficking community.
